How to request deletion

To request deletion of your Your Weight Story account and associated data, email noreply@toodl.xyz from the Google account email address used to sign in to the app.

1. Use the subject line: Your Weight Story account deletion.
2. Include the Google email address used to sign in to the app.
3. Confirm that you want your Your Weight Story account and associated account data deleted.

If the request is sent from a different email address, we may ask for additional confirmation before deleting account-linked records.

The current free app does not require an account. Its optional Restore ad-free access action uses a temporary Google/Firebase sign-in only to check a historical entitlement. The app ends that session after the check and, when the selected Google account created a new Firebase account but has no valid entitlement, attempts to delete that new account immediately. Use this page if the app reports that automatic cleanup could not be completed, or whenever you want an older Your Weight Story account deleted.

Deleting a Firebase account or its account data does not cancel a Google Play subscription and does not stop renewals. Manage or cancel the historical subscription separately through Manage historical subscription in the app's Data and privacy settings, or through the Google Play subscription management page.

Deleted data

Data deleted after a verified request

• Firebase Authentication account record for Your Weight Story.
• Firestore entitlement records linked to your Firebase user ID.
• Historical trial state linked to your account.
• Historical photo-analysis usage records linked to your account, if the retired photo feature was used.
• Historical subscription or manually granted ad-free entitlement status stored for that account.
• Support messages connected to the deletion request, unless retention is required for legal or abuse-prevention reasons.

Data stored only on your device, such as weight entries, nutrition entries, body measurement sessions, local body-progress photos, measurement notes, goals, reminders, and local app settings, is removed by deleting the app data or uninstalling the app from your device.

Meal photos are not stored on our servers, so there are no stored photo files to delete from the app backend.

A verified ad-free expiry may be cached locally without an email address, Firebase user ID, or authentication token. Deleting the remote account does not remotely erase that device-only marker. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its app data and is ignored after its expiry.

Retained data

Data that may be retained

Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, subscription/payment compliance, tax/accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations. These retained records are limited to what is necessary for those purposes.

Aggregated or de-identified analytics may remain because it is not linked to an identifiable app account after deletion.

Timeline

Processing time

Verified deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days. Where a longer retention period is legally required, the retained data is kept only for the required period and then deleted or anonymized.
